I’m leaving for Peru in a few hours. Two weeks. No technology (not even a watch!). Alone. Following Jon’s suggestions, I’ll do the 3 days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. 40 Km. 3500 meters on average. Yes, I’m crazy, I know. But it’s been all my life I want to do this. And doing it alone has a special meaning for me. Alone and no plans. Will find a tour there or, if not, I will just by a map, some food and go. Note that yesterday there was an earthquake in Lima and the President of Peru ordered martial law for 30 days to stop civilian blockades down the street. Pfff, fate has to aim much higher than this to stop me this time.
